Important!   The OPAC has some features you should read about.

 

Essentials to remember when using the OPAC with its book bag feature:

 

·        Read the tutorial referred to on the startup page as it will explain how the OPAC works with examples to help understand each feature as well as the tips that follow.

 

·        To add a book to your book bag change the “No” to “Yes” in the Add to Book Bag Column on the screen.  Then press Alt-U to update your book bag before you leave this screen.  Updating the book bag is required to retain your changes!

 

·        The OPAC allows you to choose whether a book is sent now or sent later as other books are returned.  To ensure a particular book is sent now you must change the “send later” option to “send now” while viewing the book bag.   Don’t forget to press Alt-U to update your book bag before you check out. 

 

·        The OPAC only requires you to enter your User ID and Password once when you select check out.   To track your session it is important that you use the menu buttons on the OPAC screens to navigate.  DO NOT USE THE BROWSER BACK BUTTON OR ALT-LEFT ARROW TO GO BACK A PAGE.  

 

·        If you encounter problems or have questions we encourage you to call the Library at (800) 242-0586 Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm.
